she no longer has diarhea but she is sleeping ALL the time and is very lethargic. she is still eating and drinking but im worming her today because i think that might be the problem...

My pig is sick and i gave it penicillin for the past two days but it hasnt been doing anything can i give it 1cc of nuflor? is nuflor okay with penicillin?

Shes still drinking water and eating so i dont think shes dehyrdrated at all but what about the tongue and what about giving it immodium??

My new pig has diarrhea and it hasnt stopped for several days and now every time i work her she hangs her tongue out and doesnt put it back in her mouth.... what is this ????? and how can i stop the diarrhea some one told me to use immodium will that be okay to use?

i just got this new pig and i weighed her last night and after i weighed her tongue was hanging out and this morning it was still hanging out she also just started getting diarrhea Any one know how to fix both of these problems???????

Will that help the swelling go down too? We are thinking its not OCD since he is still getting around and it been a  few weeks and has actually gotten a little bit smaller so maybe it is an injury... but im still using the Bute 5 days on and 5 days off and stopping use a month before fair he is...

No he isnt really sore he just isnt covering his tracks but he is also very long bodied but even when i poke the lump it doesnt bother him

I hope it is an injury but my vet told me that the bute has a 30 day withdrawal time and to use it 5 days with it in his feed then go 5 days without. Today is his first day without the bute and the swelling didnt increase it just got a lot harder and stayed the same size as the first time the...

I was wondering if it was possible to feed to much protein and can the results of that be swelling of the hocks... Like OCD. Because we thought my calf had OCD and we are feeding him bute and a glucosimine powder in his feed and this his like his 5th day on all that and the swelling went down...

My vet gave me me the cosequin asu plus joint supplement for mycalf that has OCD and after looking at it it says DO NOT FEED TO CATTLE but the ingredients dont seem harmful could it just be because there is a withdrawl time ...? or does anyone know if this is okay to use on cattle?

try putting some bag balm on it.. its worth the shot and i bet it would work

We think my calf has OCD and our vets have told us that there is no cure for it and only things that can keep the swelling down and that hoof trimming can help him with his walking... but if he just got this and my fair is July 20th will he be able to walk by then??? And is taking him to jackpot...

Can you use DMSO (dimethylsulfoxide) the liquid on cattle to reduce swelling of joints that will be marketed as meat later? Does it affect the meat at all?
