Thank you Show Stopper. I agree with you on the black heifer. She is a 3/4 Angus 1/4 simmi so she doesn't have very much thickness. However she has had the "resources" poured to her so she has put on a ton of depth! I really liked the hereford heifer.

We have always tied our calves up high for at least 2 hours (other than washing and drying). We tie them under fans and let them stand, to make sure they dont become dead heads!
