Could be what i call dummy calf  syndrome (will not get up , will not suck, swollen head, or swollen joints).  This is what i use to treat "dummy calves" with, give 1cc dexamethasone IM and long acting antibiotic (i like L.A. 200 give 2cc of this IM).  hope this helps!
