I bred 3 first calf heifers to Milsaps, had to pull 1 but only because heifer was way to fat. They look good, adequate bone, but not to much, good square hips, decent depth of body. They are going on 7 weeks old now.

I thought the turn out was good, and weather was great. Quality of the animals at the steer show was as deep as I have ever seen. A red steer won it  believe (Rader). I tought the judge did an excellent job and I could follow him all day.

What was the name of the Herford bull on display at Denver. I have had a couple people tell me he looked good but can not remember his name

Appeared to me that the Judge was very critical of feet and pastern flex, and in some situations went with less complete animals and used animals with more flex and free moving on the walk

Are a lot of these shows in Ohio only open to OHIO residents? If so which ones are open for those like us from out of State to attend?

I agree, They have won a ton of major shows, and that was the best calf I have ever seen.

45 with fans running to move the air. Cool enough to grow hair, but not as hard on them to be brought out in the warm.

Drew Brock? Young boy, same calf was reserve at Monroe County, and has won several other shows I hear.
