Put a thermometer in his bum. You can put some OB lube on it so it goes in easier.  Normal temp is 101.5 degrees F. Hope he is feeling better soon.

We've had that happen on calves.  I would give them a MuSe injection.  Also, I would do some massage therapy on the joints.  Seems to help.

We just got our first I-80 calf.  A nice bull calf weighing 75 pounds out of a first calf heifer (Wagonhammer Superman). calf is healthy and agressive with his meals.
