to all you Obama haters out there...

Just because Obama said "Merry Christmas" doesn't make me think any different of him...When he used the term "Merry Christmas" really totally changes up his characteristic, policies, and views! (*sarcastic tone*) I hate to tell you but posting that stuff on a cattle website in which most...

if you could put some calf pictures on that would be great! If you look at the thread on "Hairiest Simmy Bull" above, there are some good suggestions I think. Good luck!

    Hairest Simmy Bull

After looking through this thread, I really liked the Chinook bull. From personal experience, however, I really like Mo Better-he really adds muscle and bone. But I also like the look of Upgrade alot. Thats JMO. Thanks and good luck!

Headliner Vs. Monopoly Who has had calves by both and your analysis

I think its a bit funny that not one person has specified both the Headliner's and Monopoly's other brother, Master of Puppets. How does he compare to the other two?

    British Heifer classes

This is probably a dumb question, but do they have classes for British heifers? My neighbor told me that besides registered heifers, everything automatically goes into "crossbred." But I know at most shows and at my fair there are purebred, british, continental, and AOB for steers. Thanks for...

Bulls to Use for a 2nd calving...

In your opinion which bull is better: I-80, Ego Trip, or Rumor Mill. I want to breed my show heifer from last year to a clubby bull, right now shes bred to an angus but i think she can make some nice show calves. I think her traits will work well with these bulls, but if you have any more...

    Which bull would be best?

I would definitely try Walks Alone or BIM because they work really well on a purebred basis by putting look, bone, and depth to the calf. ; <cowboy>

    keeping white cows clean!

liquid bluing or a dark colored laundry detergent works well. Or, what my friend does who has a smoky calf, put a cup of bleach in a gallon of water, scrub the water in really well, and then wash with soap to get the bleach out. This works really well. Good luck!

Opinions & advice on show steers

In my opinion those are two very nice and very similar calves. I would not feed any hair supplements at all- let the winter weather, rinsing, combing, and brushing take care of that! That way they will gain more weight and finish out nicer and heavier. Thanks
