    Shaving Cream on Legs?

    I heard from my friend that putting shaving cream on your cattle's legs and combing and blowing it in promotes hair growth and trains hair to stand up. Is this true? If not, does shaving cream do anything on the legs? And if it does, would shaving cream with menthol sting or cause a reaction...

    No tail hair!

    My heifer which I will be showing in a few weeks has lost all her tail hair. It looks really strage almost like she's bald. She hasn't lost hair anywhere else and it's not ringworm nor lice. Does anyone know what it is and how to fix it? It makes me kind of upset because it looks so ugly!

    Cracked corn vs. Steamed rolled corn?

    Sometimes if our calves take to it well we take cracked corn since it is slot cheaper, and cook a few lbs. In a crock pot. This helps the cattle digest it alot easier and it saves a ton of $. Just put it on low cook while your out during the day and fill the water up to the level of the corn...
