  ;D  Thank you very much for all of the advice from all of you "hair warriors", I have printed out everything that has been written and I am going to try a few different approaches to this calves crazy hair!  Hopefully in a couple of weeks I can post a better picture with his hair looking...

Thanks Gidget, might just have to give this one a try too.  I don't know where this calf got this funky hair from, he is a Heatwave / Hoo Doo...not really sure where it comes from.  Thanks for the help!

  ;)  Thank you so much for the compliment on the calf.  We really like this calf, he is my daughter's calf for our county fair in May.  I don't know if you remember or not, but our barn burned down last May with our two steers inside it.  My daughter lost her county steer in the fire seven days...

Okay, this is not the best picture of this steer.  I took it last night and he was still a little wet after being blown off.  He will be shown in May and will be slicked for the show.
