    Womanizer

He does look very good from behind, but the thing that concerns me is his front end. BIG Shoulders, and his knees look to have a little twist in them. You can see his huge shoulders really good in Jeff's video. CU

    Tail Switch

We usually just comb it out and get it straight and clean, but sometimes if we have time we do the old "Adhesive Ball." It looks kind of cool, but don't know that fitting it does much difference. The balls are LOADS of fun to wash out though.  :D

Ivy League Pic "New Pic 1/17/09"

I really like the look of this bull. He is big hipped, deep, soggy, and wide...BUT, he is to small in my opinion. I know people want moderate frames, but he is to small IMHO. He just doesn't look very "growthy" to me.

    Best bulls for heifers???

We have used In Focus, 1I2, 6I6, and Morgan's Direction on our heifers. We have had some awesome heifers out of Morgan's Direction, but have had good calves out of all of them, and absolutely no trouble calving. Never used a Maine bull on a heifer, and never will. Ours will always be bred Angus...

    2009 crop planning

We are still keeping our normal rotation of 60% corn and 40% soybeans this year. Not many people around here are making drastic changes. We have 2 reliable ethanol plants within 40 miles, and another that runs with a co-op in town. As far as corn prices go, every year we have seen the prices...

    Teaching to Show

Really don't know any tricks to cure that besides some TLC to show him that he isn't going to get hurt standing there. Just keep working with him is my only advice. CU

    Teaching to Show

Just work with them. We have a rectangular pad we use to feed cattle on that is fenced in, we walk ours around, align them, and then walk again. It helps simulate how they move during a real show.

Watch Some of the NWSS Events FREE!

As far as I have heard, you can't watch the events for free on liveauctions.tv. In one of our Gelbvieh magazines it gave the website www.edjecast.com to watch certain shows and event.
