We just did this in Sept before World Beef Expo.  We took a hoof nippers and cut off as much as we could and then filed them flat.  She never bled or even moved.

Got mine today!  Heavy duty, packed great.....just a great purchase.

Last year we had to ship our 26 year old Gelvieh.  She still calved, but did not have enough milk to support her bull calf.

We have good luck with their growth.  We have a local feedlot that requests all our Pinzgauer/Hereford Crosses.  That cross seems to finish out really quickly.  Thanks for looking!

Here in Wisconsin we use corn stalks for the bulls & cows & straw for the youngsters.
