I have a Reg. Angus out of New Day and Northern Improvement dam. She is a 5 year old with a April 2nd King Meyer bull calf. We did show her at our county fair and won the Angus divsion. Her mother I purchased from the MN Beef Expo sale. Where are you located?

We just had a MB bull calf out of a Lookout heifer. Slight assistance, hairy and stout.

I had my first and only this morning...wish the whole herd was bred to him. This is the first bull I have used that is a carrier.. shouldn't have waited so long. The hairiest, thickest calf we have had in awhile.

Thanks for the info. Have you ever used the High Octane products from Purina? Should I look into these?

He is eating 11 pounds twice a day. I just picked up some  Ivomec and plan on treating him today. I would like to start adding more cover.

I am guessing him being approx. 900lbs now. If that is right he has gained approx. 1.83 ppd. and he would be approx. 1100lbs by fair time. I'm hoping he gains more than that rate in these last 3.5 months.

This years we have a very good steer and wanted to feed him a very good ration.We decided to feed him the Grand 4-T mix. He doesn't seem to be growing as well as steers in the past. In the past I have fed whole corn with a pellet. This is the ration we are feeding now. 60.0% Corn Rolled 15.0%...
