many salute calves do have high birth weight. but bred right he can produce some pretty dang good heifers. the family i show with had a salute steer that was second in class in bred and owned to the reserve champion and they have a pretty nice heifer out of the same cow this yr.

bawndoh the calf clearly came from something gonnett bought, so if he wouldnt have placed it with the right ppl whos the say it would have even made it that far. Also he did pick the calf out so yes i still think that makes it one of his calves.
