Had a 60 pound bull calf out of a simmy angus cow in Feb. Up and nursing in 15 minutes, well made, growing like a weed. Hope this helps.

Have a heifer that calved a couple days ago. Seems confused about what her role is,at first she would kick the heck out the calf. Put her in the chute to allow the calf to nurse. separated them overnight. Next day seems concerned but still would not let calf nurse. Today won't let calf nurse but...

I am thinking there is a bull named Donnie, and I think he is double dirty. Maybe that is  Dirty Don!
