I'm hauling about 10 miles, not very far at all. I was thinking about hauling about two weeks before.

What are everyone's thoughts on hauling cows just before calving.  I have some I would like to get closer, where it is easier to check at nights.  I would give them plenty of room on the trailer.  Do you think this affects them? if so, what do you all think would be the cut-off datt?  Two weeks...

Did anyone attend any of these sales?  If so, what were the highlights? In particular 3, 14, and 118 at First Class. 10 a, 103 at Sweetheart 3, 6 at Sandeens thanks in advance. 

How did this sale go?  It looked like a nice set of females.  I was curious about the price range of the top end of open and bred heifers.  thanks in advance.

It is too later this year, but next year try the Virginia Club Calf producers sale the last weekend of September at Harrisonburg, VA.  This is a good set of calves at a reasonable price.  Buying a calf from the sale will also get you in the running for prize money up to $1000 at the VCCP Winter...

There are two Shorthorn heifers in the sale.  One is an appendix SH - Red and White, The other one is solid White - I'm not sure the % on her.  The pictures should be on our website tomorrow.

Has anyone been through their bulls or bought bulls there in the past?  If so, how did you get along and what do those bulls average at the sale?  It looks like they are pretty stout for being straight angus.  Any information appreciated. 

Had a heifer calve out last night, one front leg was back under the calf and didn't allow it to come out.  Had to pull the calf but it didn't make it - If legs were both point the right way, she could have had it fine.  Question - I don't have an extra calf to put on her but I would really like...
