I received a cost share grant and the requirements for semen is for the bull to be in the top 20% of the breed. I'm looking at simmental bulls. Does anyone know how you find this info? I got on the ASA website but didn't find it there and didn't see anything about it in he sure catalogues...

Well she is bred to oned eyed jack right now and due in May so this mating would be her second calf.

I have a bull calf that keeps bloating(3rd time) and we have tried drenching him with dawn, and baking soda.it helped a little but he has never gotten completely better.we gave him probiotics this morning and got a bloat block. not sure if that is going to work but we don't know what else to do...

UPDATE:  she aborted a calf early this morning. It was about the size or a rabbit and I could tell it was a bull
