Which club calf bulls should I consider to sire structurally sound calves consistently? I love unstoppable but would like something with a cheaper price tag than 75 per straw.

I am looking for info from anyone who may have daughters of Comfort Zone in production.  Are they hard keepers, do they milk etc.

With the CED numbers on beacon and elevate being 21 and 23 and BW of -3 and -1 What kind of birth weight would you expect that to be?  I just haven't been in this game long and am trying to get a good idea of what to expect. 

A couple of the heifers I'm looking to breed are out of our lock n load son.

I was actually looking at the LD Capitalist bull earlier today on Cattlevisions webpage and he did stick out to me also.  Would love to here what you think of the calves when they start coming.

You are right on the numbers for sure.  I have been looking the last few days and I am probably not as likely to use him as I thought.  I still welcome any and all input.  I ran across some very positive remarks on Connelly Capitalist and he has s definitely on the list now.  I will also check...

Thank you!  I appreciate the honesty.  While I do want something pretty low birthweight for my heifers I definitely want calves that are usable.  Either as show calves or replacements.  If they don't grow well I will look elsewhere.  I'm surprised more people haven't chimed in.  I thought he was...

So I'm thinking of  using Slider on some of my heifers this year.  Looking for input from anyone that has experience with how his heifer calves grow and what type of mama cows you think they would make.  These heifers are half to quarter blood simmies.  Thanks for any input.

The ones I have seen have been nice calves.  In my experience the steers would not be as competitive as the heifers. 

This calf was 3 months old when we started about a week and a half ago.

Thanks for the reply!  We have been feeding her twice a day but may start just keep feed in front of her.

How much do you normally feed your calves as far as a percentage of body weight during day weaning.  I have one I am starting this with and this is my first time trying it.  Just hoping to get as much growth as possible.  Thanks

Does anyone have any cows in production out of this bull?  And if so how do you like them?

I would like to know what kind of bw's too.  The pics I have seen have been impressive as far as sheer power.  I am very interested in using him myself.  If you haven't already look on the competitive edge genetics website.  They have several pics posted.

Not to hijack this thread but would any of the above mentioned bulls make show heifers who could go on and make nice cows in the pasture?  Been looking real hard at Comfort Zone myself.
