We want to breed 5 pure Charolais cows. We plan to breed 3 of them cross and 2 of them pure. In a perfect world we would like to get at least 1 competitive Charolais heifer, cross steer, and cross heifer. What bulls would you guys/gals use?

Yea, I would'nt try this on heifers.  Are some of the competitive calves half pure bred? 

Ok we are fairly new to the show steer/heifer deal.  We own some really good pure charolais cattle and was wondering if they might work to get some of these charolais cross clubby type calves if bred right?  Give me some ideas on sires.  Would they have enough hair in the first generation to...
