    The codes are not coming up, but you could contact the collection site. 49 is Show Me Genetics in Missouri, 262 is Champion Genetics in Texas and 109 is Bullnanza in Oklahoma. 6269 is not a stud code so not sure on it. May have to pull a straw to be sure on it

    Never heard how the Proto mating turned out.  Here is a Parisien on Herr Otto that was born last year to celebrate ASA's 50th anniversary.  We also had calves out of Firn #8, Extra, Signal and Abricot.

    I bought some amps 2 years ago and also the tubes and syringes from Universal Semen Sales.  They can get you set up.  Our first time using amps and 4 out of 5 had calves.  Worked as good as the ones bred with straws.

    Galant went for 8 and Achilles for 15.  I should have preset the bids on those, but just missed them when I was out feeding

    They sold as follows: 3 = 42,000 7 = 8,500 10 = 4,000 12 = 6,750 97 = 3,200 199 = 12,000 I thought some of the embryos and semen was very reasonable and was surprised they still had some old Simmy semen in Achilles and Galant

    You have a variety on the Simmental - ABS, Select Sires and Curtis Breeding Service bulls - 7056 is Toni.  When you have more information on the Simmy bulls you are trying to identify, I will see what I can come up with for you

    Older Maine Bulls

    Thanks Mark - I thought that might be the case.  Birth weights have not been an issue for me with most running 85-110.  My semen interest is in the old Simmental, so if you had some of that; we could talk.
