How long do you need to feed it before your target show and also how much do you feed per day?

This calf was born in March, and he is out of Manchild and a Maine Angus cross cow.

Has anyone died a red calf?  What did you use?

We have a steer that is compacted.  We did a enema tonight on him and it looks like globs of fat came out.  Just wondering if anybody has seen this?  He is a fat steer weighing around 1300 lbs.  He has been like this since last Wednesday, at first the vet thought he had stones, but I think now...

Just wondering if any one has used these scales, PS 2000 from Salter Brecknell and if you like or dislike.  We would be weighing steers and pigs on them.  They are 59" X 30"  I am not sure they are going to be long enough.  We can get them shipped to us for $721.  Thanks
