We have a steer we need to hold for about 30 days.  Can anyone tell me what and how to do that and keep him fresh looking?? I was thinking beet pulp but not sure on how much to feed or if there is something better out there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We will be in Little Rock, Arkansas towards the end of February for a wedding.  We live in south central Texas, I am just wondering if there are any steer breeders along the way??

Is anyone using opti flexx??  If so do you give your calves anything for their hooves to keep them from getting cracks etc.  I know you have to do it for pigs when you give them paylean.  Any advice would be appreciated.

This is probably a really stupid question but can someone give me some information on where to go to understand the whole process of flusing a cow all the way through breeding the receps.  I am just interested in more of the details.  Thanks  (:))

What can I use to cure hoof rot??  We have used LA200 in the past but as in the other thread it leaves such a big knot.
