    Q FEVER

My father actually picked up Q-fever in the early 2000's.  He got real sick, chills, and every joint ached.  After 2 months of the doctors running around, he went to Iowa City and found what the cause was.  They put him on a heavy dose of steroids and he had a real tough time weaning off the...

Looking for a red or red carrier Purebred Maine bull

Without a doubt Calberta Hustler.  She would work great on.  She looks almost identical to my Hustler donor that produced many champions through the years including champ. div. 3 at 2013 Iowa State Fair.

    grizzly or trendsetter calf pics

Well I would agree they really need to be used on a large framed th carrier type cow that gets a little goosy fronted.  He clicked for me, I raised a Holstein looking trendsetter steer two years ago that one his class and almost came away with reserve division three crossbreds at the Iowa State...

    Steer Tracks Narrow

I have a steer that moves really well, but tracks narrow.  I've sent him to the hoof trimmer a few times and it's helped a little, but he still does it.  I've tried icy hot on his sack and inner legs!  Is there anything else that will help, state fair is in a few days!!!  I was wondering if I...

    opinions on easy calving bulls

I was wanting people's opinions on calving ease angus bulls to put on clubby heifers, I don't care about making them cows or show cattle.  All I want is a light weight average calf or jersey looking thing I don't care as long as its alive and the cow is ok. I have used dateline and traveler t510...

    Smilin Bob

Our smilin bob's have been amazing so far.  We had a smilin bob out of a calberta hustler/simm cow that is our best calve that we ever raised.  Unbelievable calve.  Two days ago I was thinking he was going to be our top steer by far this year but that night I had a smilin bob out of a...

    Eye Candy Semen $50?

I second that, I''ve had monopoly's but wasn't really impressed. Master of puppets gives a more consistent calf crop.  As of this far.  Different bulls work on different herds.  In my opinion smilin bob is the best bul on the market.  Breed him to smooth shouldered, deep bodied clubbier type...

    sand or no sand

I was wondering if anyone put sand in there dirt lots that there showcattle lay in.  When we take are cattle out of the cooler we put them in individual dirt lots.  I have quite a bit of sand to get rid of.  I was wondering about the pros and cons of doing it.  Will sand get stuck in there hair...
