Who is going to the Shorthorn Junior Nationals ?

118 was due to the extreme drought we were in last summer.  You could have several days in the high 90's or maybe low 100's with heat index.

    Former show heifers are nice....

Those old show heifers can be to nosey sometimes and extrememly stubborn  just when ya dont need them to be.  We have some that are to gentle.  Its extrememly hard to push them through the tub,  alley to the chute.    I dont like using the hot shot but its a necesary evil when working some of...

    TRF High Cotton 328 ET

I'm not sure who owns him.  I just heard through friends in Iowa that he was a great one being collected at Hawkeye Breeders Service.

    TRF High Cotton 328 ET

I have heard that TRF High Cotton 328 ET is the deepest, thickest, soundest traveling Reg. Herreford to ever be collected at Hackeye.  Has anyone seen him or heard any thing about him?

Hard pulls and an Ali Calf taken out the side of a heifer three days ago weighing 120.  He's up and...

Hats off to Jirl Buck and other tidbits!

Red I didn't mean to come across as attacking or bashing a breeder. Bucks spring catalog has some impressive heifers being offered again.    I just wanted to stimulate some indepth conversation.  I agree Its is a beautiful spring day and I too want to continue with friendly posts.

Hats off to Jirl Buck and other tidbits!

Thanks DL for the invite to continue the PHA article discussion that was not welcome on SS.  I like that Buck has moved forward with only  marketing of PHA free bulls in his future production sales.  His spring catalog  supports only using PHA free bulls in the future or at least to manage the...
