Used him on only one cow last year and she gave us a nice bull calf who gets better every day.

Had an outstanding heifer solid black with white rear socks. She is thick and stout, wish she were a bull calf. Dam is a Who. Will definatley be using him more this year.

The three C's is what I stress to 4H kids. Keep your animals cool, clean and comfortable. To many of these family's try hard but have no clue.  but utilizing the thre C's is a good place to start. IMO.

I am interested in two of your cows. Which 2 blacks will make the best recips. that milk well and will calve earliest.
