im looking for a show quality angus bull that has good calving ease and wont downsize my calf frame size in the long run to use on my heifers. i have had to many problems this year with "calving ease" club calves. any suggestions are appreciated

what cutting of hay is it? 1st cutting will help make him a little more solid. also you could drop the grain back just a little and give him all he can eat hay and that always works for us. i dont think he has a virus. but you could always worm him as a precaution if it hasnt been wormed yet

in our class like this the major rules are that it must be bred born and raised in our county and that if it  wins grand or reserve champion in the 4-h market show it cannot compete in this class and it has to be one of the 4-h market steers

what about Thriller? i havent seen a calf out of him that i didnt like and i have seen quite a few in my area. i bred to him this year and will have calves in the spring sired by him.
