2010 Jefferson County Fair

I just wanted to thank everyone on Steer Planet for tips and advice on growing hair, feeding and clipping.
This past week was our county fair, which took place in Jefferson,WI. My steer was picked Grand Champion Angus Steer and my brother's Shorthorn steer got Reserve Champion Any Other Breed. I was so excited and can't wait until next year. <party>
I know everyone said you can't grow hair on an Angus (lol), but I did get a little hair to grow on my steer.
He was sired by Duff New Edition out of a 23-4 daughter and the best part is that he was home raised.
