If you download the PDF the text and pictures are very clear.
To do that, go up to the little gear looking icon and there is a drop down menu.
Unfortunately, there is one paragraph about breeding and ten about Duthie tipping his hat to every boy and girl along the lane.

Also photos of an interesting set of bulls in the 1920 Hartnett Importation, with names and locations of the new owners. They are all roan and white, not one red in there.

1. Turns out the bull in the first photo is a California bull, not a Duthie bull, but I'll leave his picture in. Bound to have Scotch breeding.

2. And a nice milking Shorthorn cow. 1600 lbs when milking 60 lbs per day.

3 & 4. The imported bulls. I like a couple of the white ones.

I finally got to see what some of those cattle looked like from behind-both in show rig-and pasture pics. There is one somewhere in the midwest with some very pretty but thick butted cows walking away into a field-Looked alot like the cattle I saw in Ireland-And on page 13 of one of the boooks-is a red bull that bears an uncanny resemblance to Deerpark Improver-Great stuff-and its surprising how wide some of those cattle were-look at the white ones pictured in Oklahoma judging contest or something to that effect-Great Stuff O0

Mark, the pasture photos are always my favorites. The details of the farms and fences, the shady meadows and streams...I think these meadows have as much to do with the quality of the animals as anything.
