Anyone go to the Angus Connection sale yesterday, Saturday October 9th?  How were the cattle and the prices?

It was held at Foster's in Niles, Michigan.

I was also wondering what the open heifers sold for.  Any info would be great.

Open heifers sold pretty darn good.  I think I heard they averaged $6000-$6500, and if you take out the MSU opens, it was over $8000 average.

Lot 6 was high seller at $26,000 for half interest.

I tried to watch the sale on Live Auctions and they had all kinds of problems.  I think I have most of the prices but I'm not going to guarantee them.  If anything I'm low on a few.
