ABS is running a special, and I noticed a bull called Frontier. Here is a link to the ABS site, http://abs-bs.absglobal.com/beef/simmental.asp?CodTouro=29SM0456, and his EPS are even better on the ASA web site, https://herdbook.org/simmapp/template/animalSearch%2CAnimalSearch.vm/action/animalSearch.AnimalSearchAction, ASA  2703756 .
His EPDs look good, anybody ever see this bull in person or know anything about him? It is nice to see a pedigree with great EPDs and no Upgrade or Shear Force in it. Something new...

Halfblood SimAngus, if that fits your needs. Nothing I don't like on the Angus or Simmental side of the pedigree
Considered him for use on some SHxAN heifers we'll be breeding this fall - good CE/BW, decent WW, Mrb/REA/Shr epds suggest those 'terminal' calves oughta have pretty good carcass traits.  Haven't ruled him out, yet.

k,
He may not have Upgrade or Shear Force, but Dream On and Legacy are back there a ways, so some of those same genetics are part of the package.

I agree with you there. Love how people promote alot of these bulls as an "outcross" when they are nowhere even close to that. It is getting really hard mating Simmental cattle I feel.
