ARB Certificate - anyone know about this???

I have a Brahman heifer, the bull was registered, and the cow's dam was registered.  Since cow was not registered, someone suggested I get an ARB certificate.  This is not a registration, but as I understand it, confirms the date of birth, for a show.  Does anyone have any experience with this?

I do , we are showing an ABC heifer now . for prospect shows the heifers have to be classified once to get an ear tag through the TJLA , in order to show at a major the heifers have to be issued a certificate from an association in order to show as an ARB . the qualifications are on both SA and HLSR websites .
