Assembling Double Blowers?

can someone give me some tips or advice on setting it up, i figured it was going to be alot easier but its harder then i thought.  ???

isn't it just a y hose with 2 ring clamps?

I looked into doing this and decided to just bite the bullet and buy one from Sullivans.

The hang up I had was finding the right size and SHAPE “Y”.
