Okay; I'm looking at a bow that a friend of mine is selling, I'm not a bow expret, so I need opinions on this bow.

Its a '90s model Bear, it seems to be in good condition. It just needs a new rest, he's offering $50 for it, do you think its worth it ?

I can get pics of it, if needed

New bows are sweet, but the 90's technology is still deadly.  If the limbs are in good shape and it shoots true, then go for it.  You may need to get it adjusted for your draw length, etc.  Maybe get a new string, take it to a bow shop for tuning.  Could be money well spent given new outfits are $400 and up.
