Anyone know what lots #5 & #28 brought yesterday & the sale average? Loved the look of those 2 bulls!!

Brent...I watched the sale online. Lot 5 (Moneyball) sold to Gamble's for $62,500. Lot 28 sold for $42,500, and went to Hanneken and Wilde in MN. Lot 36 brought $30,000 and went to Vin-Mar. Lot 1 brought $16,500 and Lot 3 brought $19,500, both by Bush's Unbelievable and flushmates to Moneyball. They didn't announce the sale average, but it had to be real high with several bulls over $10,000!! Congrats to the Bush family!

Thanks so much Mark. I told Carol to take the money from lot # 5 this year. They are very nice PPL to talk to. I agree congrats to the Bush outfit. Great cattle with look combined with performance. Hard to get done!!!

The other thing that is very impressive about their program is there are NO FEMALES brought into their program! As far as you can trace back to their original foundation, it is all BUSH breeding. And many of those females are out of bulls that they raised. That is what impresses me most. A solid foundation of cows that can get it done. Very honest breeders from my experience, and no funny business!
