Clipping unruly show steer

I was wondering if anyone has any techniques they use to calm an unruly calf while clipping. I turn fans on to muffle the sound of the clippers but that hasn't helped much.

I always use a second halter, put on backwards and tied to the other side of the chute. I put the first halter on properly, then put the towel over their eyes, and then the second halter over the towel
