2-3% of your calf's weight is a good place to start feeding one. If they gain a little too well or not enough, you can adjust from there. The beet pulp thing will depend on what you want to do. If the calf needs to gain a lot of weight, almost no, or very little beet pulp should be fed. If you're holding one, we've fed up to 70% of their ration in beet pulp (wet). If you're feeding one along just fine and just want them to continue like they are and are feeding it to expand their gut, we feed around 20-30% VOLUME (dry). Not sure what % it is of weight, but not all that much.
