Well as far as things to see the Yard is a must. The type of cattle on display will just depend on your time there but definitely take a stroll along the catwalk its a pretty impressive view. Catch some classes there at the Auction arena too if you can. The way things are done there is pretty unique with the carload shows. If you are there for the bull display that's always worth hitting up, thats when most of the new clubby bulls are debuted. Up on the hill there is the trade show like every stock show which is fun if you like to shop lots of cattle related booths. The cow palace is neat because of how old it is, I will often go in to watch a show and end up looking at the structure of the building more then than the cattle lol. Down in the barns can be pretty crazy as far as that goes feel free to walk through them and take a look just be courteous and stay out of the way as the place and be very crowded and exhibitors are dealing with the public bringing strollers and clogging the walkways all day and they can get a little testy after a week of it. Other then that grab a schedule both the one that the public gets and go print off the one from the website under livestock. There are some grooming demos going on and it lists all the sales if you want to catch some as well. Mostly just have fun and enjoy your first NWSS you will be hooked <cowboy>
