On the Midwest Genetics on-line semen sale 2 straws of Jack Frost semen sold for $90.00/ straw. Both SEK and Top Sires have it listed for $20.00. I have some in my tank. Just wondering what's up with that?

Please tell me what Jack Frost was. I have seen that name in several pedegrees.

He is a Full Throttle out of a Maine Angus cow. Of late there have been some cows singled out for being great cows and they were by Jack Frost. He was stout, big ribbed and pretty sound. Like his sire he had a tendency to throw some pretty big calves at times. Since my original post I looked on Cattle.com and there have been other sales of his semen above $50.00/straw. Some even brought $100.00.
