EZ all foamer ques. ?

I have resently just bought a" EZ all green" foamer and i would like to know what soaps and  shampoos do you use and that you think work well,  Thanks

You just have to play with it and see what combo works best for you but we used Ajax lemon dish soap in ours but we always condition with tresume (msp) and show sheen after...about 25% soap and fill with water..FYI we don't use them anymore because we couldn't get them to last very long... we feed out 5-7 show calves a year and we were tearing them up in about three months time...mostly always the spray nozzle itself breaking...

I Love mine. Nozzle did break but I bought a new nozzle, like 8 bucks. I only use it when I'm actually bathing. I got a gallon of the ez all soap... It worked great (on the horses too) but I just got some of the new weaver shampoo in the Kirk Steirwalt line... I'm hoping it works well too. We spray with sheen water and vinegar to keep the dandruff at bay.

I mix equal parts Ez All soap and Suave shampoo.  Used to use Dawn instead of Suave but I tend to get a little carried away and the Suave mix rinses out easier for me.

I mix about 1/2 - 2/3 Clear Choice Shampoo and water. We solved the nozzle breaking problem with one of those cut off things that screw on to the end of a water hose - much more durable.

Can you be a litle more specific? I would luv to find a way to make them more durable... how does the cut off thing connect to the ez all bottle?

The coupling on the end of the spray nozzle that comes with the easy foamers will screw off and the end of the cheap cut-off deal will screw right into it. Works for us and the can be found at most any home and garden store, Walmart, Lowes, etc

I usually take the coupling off the easy foamer (broken) nozzle, snap it on to the foamer like it's supposed to go, then screw the whole thing onto the simple cut off deal which has been screwed on the end of a water hose. pretty simple deal.

My nozzle is 2 years old and still going strong.  I have a brass shutoff on the end of my hose, and my ezall nozzle stays on the shutoff always.  I rinse with it on there, I do everything with it on the valve.  I figure there's only so many times that stupid thing will screw onto the valve before the plastic strips, so I leave it be.  Don't drop it on the ground and it shouldn't break.  Chambero, I'll try to snap a picture of it tomorrow to show you what I'm talking about.  It's just a regular brass shutoff valve.

As far as soap is concerned, I use Redken AllSoft shampoo on our steers.  A gallon of it at the Beauty Supply wholesale place in Wichita Falls TX, is about $25 and in my opinion, it's the best shampoo of any kind that money can buy.  I'm not just talking about the best cattle shampoo, I think it's the best shampoo of any sort.  No, it isn't lemon scent Joy or whatever the heck Joe Shmoe uses (nothing against the Shmoe family) but I don't buy cheap cattle, I don't use crappy sheen on them, and I don't wash them with dishwashing detergent for my haircare routine either. <beer>  Other folks can do whatever blows their skirt up, but I use what I think is the best soap I can get, and in the longrun it's pretty cheap.  I never have dandruff on our cattle using this shampoo, and it keeps their hair and hide in phenomenal shape.  Heck, you do the math.  Small bottles of Joy are $2 each, how many of those fit in a gallon?  I'm buying the best soap I feel like I can possibly buy & it's $25.  I put about an inch of shampoo in the bottom of the EZall bottle, and fill the rest with water & shake it up well.  It lathers up unbelievably well.

We take the little restrictor  out and just use suave and bright lights mix works great and rinses out easily.
with the restrictor out you get more foam and it's more evenly destributed on the calf. Our valve broke but found one at the farm store.

Chambero, Mine is set up just like the above pic but my valve is plastic.
