Galloway cross calves

These are March/April calves.  I thought maybe you might like to see some of the crosses.  I believe we can find common ground between low input easy keeping cattle and cattle that will show well.  I'm going to stick to raising beef with mine but that's just because I really enjoy watching them out on pasture instead of in a ring.
I'd like to see some Red Galloway x Red Angus pictures if anyone has some.

HAB, Thanks for the pictures.  I had heard they do a lot of Charolais X Galloway in Canada.  I'd like to see some of those Galloway smokies if anyone has pictures.
I like that Red Angus x Galloway little bull..put him onto some Shorthorn cows and that might be a good composite recipe.  Grass fattening, moderate, hardy, early maturing.
How about Murray Grey X Galloway? Is anyone doing that?

I have helped one of my customers sell his Galloway X Charolais heifers to a grass finishing operation that used a Murray Grey bull on them.  Sorry no pictures.

I like that blue -and overall nice calves. What is Amos-Im assuming hes native-ALSO not to steal the thread but heres one of 4 full sibs -very steep dry ground here-sired by Mojito-and bred to MOTO MOTO in the HAB avatar-as usual-being the phographer to the stars-you can see my camera wasnt quite right-I think the calves will be way better than average-to say the least O0

Mojito daughters bred to Moto Moto- should be great calves.

Here are a couple of pics of Moto Moto one at the 2014 NWSS and the other of Moto Moto slick sheared this summer after breeding 40 cows for 50 days.  Slicked him and took picture the day we pulled him out.

Well, HHFS Amos was sired by a Native bull from the 1960's and I think your observation about the horned bulls is supported by what I see in Amos and his calves. 

But I think that the Galloway sires are even more prepotent, being bred true for so long.  The Galloway really gives the heifers a kind of broody body and the extra rumin capacity that works for grass fed.

I'm happy to see more pictures of Galloway crosses. My limited experience has been that the first cross of Galloway on Angus brings the Angus back closer to the ground and widens the loin, also gives more spring of rib.  The Shorthorn cross on that kind of smooths everything out.  More pictures is always better for me.
