Getting Calves started on creep

Whats the best way to get them started?
we have had some sweet feed in the creep feeder but they dont even want to go in

Make the creep really inviting, straw hay etc. When it gets hot here we put a fan in there also

Best way to start on creep is to put some out when you are calving an they are proably cinfined, it don'take much ,an it gives them something to do .  Just plain grain sometimes isn't real esy to get them started on ....

We fed our cows right next to the creep gate, by the third day the calves found it.

we put really sweet feed in the creep bunk  and put the creep feeder under the shade and moved the cow's mineral feeder within about fifteen feet of it.
will some green hay help?(they have a whole pasture of green grass so i'm a little skeptical)
