Grooming Chute Flooring

Probably a long shot, but I have an old school Patterson Supply 7 foot chute.  Sullivan's padded floor doesnt fit these.  I am looking at building my own, but am unsure what high density foam is used.  I have the 1 inch thick rubber stall mats as my flooring now.  Steer get's restless on that, i'd like to get some padding.  Anyone have any clue what foam is used?

See if you can find some old wrestling mat and cover it with a Kevlar cloth.  Glue it down to a plywood piece cut to size.
