Does anyone have any experience with R C WG Damn Proud or SULL Stockman 898 genetics? I've unexpectedly come into possession of a heifer out of these 2, and I'm not sure what to do with her. Is she worth raising as a breeding female (maybe for producing clubbies?) Or am I better off feeding her hard and marketing her as a show heifer to get rid of her? She's definitely good enough, easily the stoutest heifer on our place. Born in Feb with a high milk recip.

The second picture is from about a week ago. The other was at around 2.5 months old

The Stockman 898 genetics consistently produce Sullivan's top Shorthorn Plus females. We had a full sister to the heifer you have and sold her to a kid that showed her and has her bred for her 1st calf now. She turned out alright as a bred heifer.

Thanks for the report Doc! Does anyone have any experience with the 898 daughters in production? There ought to be a fair few of them out there somewhere.
