I have a chi heifer that hasn't cycled for a long pierod of time, not sure when her last cycle was but she has been in. All of my other heifers have cycled and are now official bred. What do you think is causing this is there anything i could do?

I would start with a shot of Lutalyse.  Thats a cheap, easy option to try.  As far as reasons for not cycling--ovarian cysts can cause heat cycle related problems.  Some vets can palpate them (depending on the size) or they can be seen on ultrasound.  Another thought...is there a bull nearby that could have bred her?  ???

Would suspect ovary'smight be bit infantile or just not working or not readyto work.  2cc cysterlinn im perferably in stifle and wait and watch-- if ovarys going to function they will probably 7-10 days you should see heat-  if not trip to vet and check on repro tract-  you could do the cidor but would rather work on the cystrolinn  if you see heat breed if not wait 5-10 days and try it again. a lutalayse shot will only work if hf is in 11 day window in middle of cycle-  might work but other way will set up tract to work rather than ringing a heat out that might not be a real good heat
