Don't read too much into the title its not as intense as it sounds
So here's a little background. I have cows and make breeding decisions and my husband has cows and makes him own breeding decisions. So with that we use very different bulls sometimes, and the same sometimes. We do try to limit the amount of bulls used to get a nice set of consistent calves. Anyway I used a bull and got some very nice calves. Some I  have retained as cows and even a clean up bull. So both the cows we have retained have been bred to the same bull and have had heifers calves. One is a yearling and we will be breeding soon and the other a calf but looks real nice. So he wants to use the bull that we have bred to the cows of the bull I picked, I want to use the sire of the cows again. He says the sire of the calves is the good bull I like the sire of the cows. The first bull has sired some show champions and a lot of calves in the breed. The other sire not so much known. Hope you can understand that all. Hard to put down in type. We may be selling some of the heifers this fall.

We'd help in understanding what the woman is typing <cowboy>

So you have cows out of a bull and a cleanup bull out of the same bull, and he is wanting to use the clean up bull on the resulting offspring and you are wanting to use the sire of the cows and the cleanup, the sire of the heifers or the sire of the cleanup?
