What daily hair care do you do to Hereford wavy hair?

My heifer this year has some pretty bad waves along the top of her ribs. Alot of combing, blowing, and brushing will help. I also use a cheap conditioner to soften the hair. I've heard wave tamer is great for kinks and waves.
