How do you like to buy?

I have my way of doing things along with my preferences but when it comes to buying show stock, steers in particular, what method of buying do you prefer? Via online sales, sales in general, or name the price private treaty? Just interested to see what method allows you to feel the most comfortable and happy towards your buying decision.
