How much adhesive and such do I need?

This is my daughter's first year with a 4-H steer, and thus the first year that we will be paying a lot of attention to the groom details.  We have a pretty good feel for the grooming process and know several people that will help, but I am not sure how much adhesive, Ultra White and Black Finisher we will need.  One other question, for a black steer is it helpful to use a red or brown cover up before using the black finisher on the legs after building with Ultra White?

If you have the time to, using brown to cover the white before you use black works great!  We usually buy supplies by the case, but we show 4-8 heifers a year at 10-15 or more shows a year.
