is 1150 a good yearling weight?

this is a one year old purebred maine bull, JBZ  STAFFMAN, ali son, is 1150 a good yearling weight, he has been on free choice grass hay and about 12 pounds of grain daily

I think for the ration this calf has been on 1150 is a fine yrling weight. Your pictures are not at the best angles but if this bull's steer mates were on a hotter ration they would probably finish in 14 or 15 months and that is a good place to be.
