So I gazed upon clubcalves yesterday and someone said that Monopoly broke his hip and they had to put him down this week. Is this true or is someone just starting a load of crap?!

Im not so sure they would be that quick to jump in say that hes dead just so they can boost the price up even more. lets say they keep it quiet ( just saying, not that i believe that they are ,but any time anybody says a bull dies people jump to the conclusion that if he were really dead then the owners would shoot the price up and announce his death)But, if the truth is kept quiet, as far as the public is aware of, the bull is "thought" to still be collecting, doesnt matter if he is freezing in large amounts or not. Many people pay WAY more money for a original bull over the clones ( I don't know why), so if people think that the bull is still alive and producing then more than likely they will buy the original semen at a higher price. Even if they lie and say the bull is alive 2-3 years longer than he actually is they still milked the profit on a dead bull, thought to be alive) for 2-3 years. Maybe that "original" semen is clone semen and your paying top dollar for semen you think you are buying, but not really. After the few months, or years, that they fool the public into thinking that he is alive, maybe they will even be able to even sell more "original" semen down the road because people thought that he was in collectuion longer than he actually was and therefor the semen companies have a reasonable amount stored up for the public to buy. Perhaps by doing this its creates a marketing allusion that they are actually buying the "original" bulls semen when actually its a clone or something. I think they could make more money by doing it this way than by throwing the price up to 500 fat ones which would actually loose customers, especially when i can go out and buy semen on a different, and maybe better bull, for 20 bucks. And Monopoly is not a legend. I like the bull and am NOT bashing him! Just something to think about...
