Does anyone have daughters seen daughters heard of daughters and what their udder looks like and more notably how much milk they have? In a few months we will have 50+ daughters out of a son of his having their first calves. I don't really believe in milk epd as a lot of the hoodoo influence we have used have been negative and have more milk than most any red angus cow I have ever seen which is more than enough for us. The big difference here is I believe in how the way hoodoo cattle were raised and I just don't know enough about the effertz program to know if this will result the same way. -16 sounds like his daughters would dry up a holstein. Sometimes I wonder since he is a little outcross to a lot of charolais lines if the get just a little heterosis bump and then the daughters don't get it so then the milk number goes down....I've seen it in the red angus deal for sure. Any information would be great. Thanks

A couple of breeders that have used Tenacious heavily are Sandmeiers at Bowdle,SD and Rawes ranches in Strome, AB. These are big 500 plus registered cow operations where the purebred are managed with commercial cows.  They do not baby their cows.  Either a cows works or she goes.  Since they have used him extensively they would know quite a bit about him. since you see him close up i pedigrees he must put out decent females in addition to good growth and carcass.
By the way the biggest worry both breeders have is not milking ability.  It is feet.  They do not want to trim feet on 500 head of cows every year.  They have culled many bloodlines out that milked and grew great but had bad feet.
