Getting ready to wean a few calves. This little heifer was born the last day of April and is out of our herd bull (pictured in my avatar) and an all black Teddy Bear (SH) cross heifer. The calf is registered Shorthorn Plus. Just wanted to see what some people thought....not very good pics, I am going to bring some calves in this week and clip tails and what not. They will be weaned the first weak of August and I am going to try to get them clipped for pics so I can start marketing and selling them.
The first pic is of the calf at 1 day old, and the second was taken this morning at 67 days old.

Hard to tell from that pic, but that looks like a pretty nice calf.

Very nice heifer.  She sure is powerful.  I see you can't get rid of the mud where you live. :(  Unfortunately its raining in Indiana again today.

Oh glorious mud, I love it!!! ;) Cows up to their bellies and calves trailing behind with water wings and snorkels.
Thanks for the comments on the calf. I am just trying to figure out what to price her at and find a good home for her.
